"Just Got Paid"! My friends used to tease me with that song when we'd hang out on Friday.

I love Terence Trent Darby, but not sure how well he was received stateside because I was in Europe when his album dropped. Far as my research shows, his album did "respectable," but "Wishing Well" was his only true "hit." If I am wrong, someone please correct me :-) Thanks for the info on his current stuff, Lily. I was wondering what he was up to.

Again, I LOVED Terence's debut album, but it was not a big hit with the brothers and sisters overseas during the time it came out ('88, I think). Still, the Europeans loved it and it got much play in the clubs OFF post. Not too many GIs were digging this guy who looked a like like Milli Manilli. I still have the dubbed tape from back in the day. I refuse to get rid of it. Still, y'all HAVE to admit, he has not a single hit since that album. Again, correct me if I am wrong.
